This was a gorgeous and very large shooting location with a cheap admission fee. I think it was something like $3 per person and they were cool with us shooting on our word that it wasn't "commercial" (unlike certain assholes at Descanso Gardens). A perfect backdrop for Tuny's yukata Christmas present from last year.

Not many people know about this place, but it's definitely not a place to be overlooked.

Star Trek fans might recognize the water reclamation building to the side of the garden as the stand-in for Starfleet Headquarters (which is supposed to be in San Fransisco).
