To get your hair more like Vash: Tip your head upside down and blow dry, gravity will help keep it up while you are trying to keep it straight as opposed to curvy and concave. You need to blow dry it as long as possible like 30 minutes depending on the length of your hair. Another good way to help it stay up is to have it pushed back a bit as opposed to guile style.
